Tottenham boss Jose Mourinho has reportedly made a contact with Paris Saint-Germain defender Thomas Meunier.
The 28-year-old is expected to leave reigning Ligue 1 champions as his contract expires at the end of the season, however, Spurs are not the only European side to have shown interest.
Mourinho may need to secure Champions League qualification after the season resumes in order to reach a deal with Meunier, who impressed in midfield at the 2018 World Cup.

According to
Daily Mail, Spurs boss has already been in contact with Meunier through his agent, despite the fact that the North London club will be working with a reduced transfer budget.
The Belgium international has only made 16 league appearances so far this season and is unlikely to sign an extension.
