Cristiano Ronaldo's sister responds to Virgil van Dijk comments about the Juventus star
Cristiano Ronaldo's sister has responded to Virgil van Dijk's comments about the Juventus star.
Virgil van Dijk joked on Cristiano Ronaldo when asked if Portuguese was an opponent for him for Ballon d’Or 2019.
When asked on how it feels not having one of his rivals at the ceremony, Van Dijk responded: “Was he a rival then?”
To which Ronaldo's sister, Katia Aveiro responded with a post on her Instagram page.
She wrote: "It is right and known that Ronaldo will not win tonight's award. Although he won important collective titles... but that's another conversation and that up front we will see where the truth about football will come!!!"Now, dear Virgil, where are you going, Cristiano Ronaldo has gone and has come a thousand times. Look, my dear Virgil, that Cristiano Ronaldo was tri-Champion in the country where you've been playing for years and you still couldn't get your hand in the "can". Cristiano Ronaldo was even the best player and best scorer in the country where you play Virgil."By the way, he was even much younger than you. Then, dear Virgil, Cristiano Ronaldo went to other stops and became the greatest player in the history of clubezito. Real Madrid tell you something Virgil? It's possible, because this club, with this guy Cristiano even defeated you in the final of such a champions league."Of those, RONALDO IS 5, Virgil. And this Ronaldo and his companions, with the chest, crushed your orange in a final. Was it tough Virgil? We feel sorry and, dear Virgil, in one of the least achieved times of his career, Cristiano Ronaldo still won more titles than you."Impressive, isn't it? Now Virgil will win titles of those who really count and then we talk. When you have a handful of them, of the really important ones, maybe you can sit at the table with Cristiano. Or as they say in our land, grow up and show up!"And for me @cristiano you are and will forever be the best player in the world!!!! and who doesn't like to put on the wheel of the plate!!! (as we say in our land, tiny for the many) but where did the Best of all time..."
