Philippe Coutinho has opened up about his future amid links to his former club Liverpool. He has insisted he is ‘focused’ on Bayern Munich and not his future, ahead of the Champions League final.
The 28-year-old’s future is not certain with Bayern choosing not to sign him permanently and Barcelona apparently willing to cash-in this summer. Coutinho has been linked with a number of clubs, including a possible return to Anfield.
However, when asked about the continued speculation, the Brazilian said ahead of this weekend’s clash against PSG:
“My mind is fully focused on the competition.
“It’s a unique opportunity for us. I’m very happy to be in the Champions League final.
“On my future, I haven’t thought about it because I’m only thinking about the final. We haven’t spoken yet because of the match.
“I’m sure he is focused on his team and me on mine. PSG is a very strong side with really quick forwards. I don’t even need to say how great of a player Neymar is because the whole world knows it.
“They also have a solid defence. It’ll be a great match, a great final.”
