According to what has been reported by Spanish media outlet Mundo Deportivo, Philippe Coutinho could still return to Liverpool, despite several other club also being interested in signing Brazil international.
27-year-old star has moved to Barcelona in 2018 for €142 m to become world’s 3rd most expensive player.
Coutinho, who has been given the role of Andres Iniesta’s successor, failed to impress playing alongside Lionel Messi.
Liverpool are currently monitoring Coutinho’s situation, as Bracelona are going to buy Antoine Griezmann from Atletico Madrid and return Neymar from PSG, which means Philippe could see the doors open for departure.
Mundo Deportivo says Merseyside club are ready to make a bid for Coutinho and will be pleased to see him back at Melwood.
