Schalke have revealed that Ozan Kabak has been given permission to miss pre-season training amidst the speculation surrounding the centre-back’s future.
Tottenham
are said to be interested signing the 21-year-old, as Fabio Paratici is keen on bringing the Turkish international to North London.
Kabak had a loan spell at Liverpool during the second half of last season and pretty much didn't impress Jurgen Klopp, as the Merseysiders have decided against taking up the £18m option to buy him permanently.
The centre-back also attracts interest from Bayer Leverkusen, Crystal Palace, Leicester City and RB Leipzig.
And Schalke have now confirmed that the defender has been given a week off from training ‘in order to focus on his future’.
