The Athletic journalist Charlie Eccleshare has provided an update on Manchester City’s pursuit of Harry Kane.
Tottenham star has been heavily linked with the move to Etihad for the summer transfer window, after revealing his desire to leave the North London club in search of Champions League football.
Eccleshare claims that City are expected to be willing to pay more than £100M for the England international’s transfer, but it’s less clear if they would go as high as £150M.
Journalist also added that the Citizens are “willing to bide their time” in the next few weeks for signing Kane, though the summer transfer window could be a very short one to secure the attacker’s move.
