"Clown"- Liverpool fans blast Leicester star for making excuses after defeat

Liverpool fans have blasted Leicester City goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel after the game, as he appeared to blame the referee for his side’s defeat. Jurgen Klopp's side recorded a 4-0 won over Leicester on Boxing Day and continued their unbeaten campaign leaving 13 points gap between their second placed rivals. Roberto Firmino scored twice for the Reds, with James Milner and Trent Alexander-Arnold each getting one to seal the three points. After the game, Foxes keeper Kasper Schmeichel blamed the referee for his side’s defeat. He said: "We were in the game until the referee had to make himself a hero." Liverpool fans didn't seem to like the keeper's comments and took to Twitter to react to it:
