Christian Pulisic speaks out on Chelsea's January transfer plans

Christian Pulisic says he is prepared to welcome any new arrivals at Chelsea, even if it means further competition for his first-team place. Chelsea saw their transfer ban lifted in last December. Thus Frank Lampard will be free to sign players during the January transfer window. Lampard will have a £150million transfer kitty to spend this month, according to reports. Jadon Sancho is thought to be a potential target but is unlikely to move in the January window. Timo Werner is another player whose name has been touted as a possible target for the Stamford Bridge club. Speaking after Chelsea's draw with Brighton on New Years Day, he said: "Yeah I mean it is normal, teams look to improve their team and if players do come in there is competition, that is how it goes. So we’ll be ready for that and hopefully we’ll have players that come in and want to help us." Source- The Mirror
