Chelsea's stance on signing Real Madrid's Luka Jovic as Edinson Cavani transfer hopes fade
Chelsea are not actively trying to sign Real Madrid star Luka Jovic, despite their need to recruit a striker before the end of the transfer window on Friday.
The Blues have been considering a move for Paris Saint-Germain's Edinson Cavani, but he prefers a move to Atletico Madrid, while there's also Krzysztof Piatek from AC Milan, who is thought to be keen on a move to the Premier League.
According to the Telegraph, Jovic is way down on Chelsea’s list of strikers, with Lampard’s not currently pursuing his signature.
But Lampard is keeping an eye on his situation, and could approach Real Madrid if he isn’t able to sign Piatek or Cavani.
