Chelsea summer target Jonas Hofmann drops hints about his future

  Chelsea transfer target Jonas Hofmann has spoken out on his future amid the links to Premier League. Hofmann has been a Borussia Monchengladbach player since 2016 and his contract with the club expires in the summer of 2023. The 28-year-old has made overall 25 appearances in which he has scored 7 goals and provided 11 assists. Recently, Bild reported that there have been discussions between Thomas Tuchel and Hofmann over a move. Hofmann was managed by Tuchel during this time at Borussia Dortmund. Speaking in an interview with Ruhr Nachrichten, Hofmann said: "Basically, I feel good at Borussia, I’ve always emphasised that. It may be that one or the other club has expressed its interest. “Nevertheless, for me, the absolute focus is on having a successful season with Borussia and dedicating myself fully to success. I put my personal situation under it.” When asked directly about talking with Chelsea representatives, Hofmann said: “I think it’s clear that other clubs will notice you if you perform well.
