Chelsea receive huge boost in Chilwell pursuit

Chelsea are making huge progress on the signing of Leicester City defender Ben Chilwell, according to Football Insider. The 23-year-old has enjoyed an outstanding season with the Foxes and is Frank Lampard’s number one left-back target. A source at Stamford Bridge has told Football Insider that the Blues are now hopeful of signing the England international for around £50million. While Brendan Rodgers' side were initially asking for £80million. There is still some way to go before an agreement is in place but the Premier League big guns are increasingly hopeful of a deal.
