Chelsea midfielder Mason Mount hasn't joined the England squad yet and could miss the World Cup qualifiers against Albania and San Marino.
The 22-year-old underwent a surgery on infected wisdom teeth. Mount was taken ill ahead of the Blues' 3-0 win against Newcastle United at St James' Park nine days ago and missed the Champions League victory over Malmo last week as a result.
But that didn't stop him from being called up to the England squad by Gareth Southgate for the Three Lions' upcoming fixtures.
Mount returned to action against Burnley on Saturday, but he was only able enough to play the final ten minutes of the 1-1 draw at Stamford Bridge.
England players have already reported to St George's Park for international duty but it's been confirmed Mount hasn't arrived having undergone surgery on his teeth and will be monitored in the days ahead.
