Chelsea have offered Barcelona €100 million for two of their players-Philippe Coutinho and Marc Cucurella, according to Don Balon.
The offer itself would help Barca financially for the upcoming transfer market, however, the most important factor of the offer is that the Premier League wants Barcelona’s profitable signing.
Josep Maria Bartomeu and his team were worried about how they would get rid of the former Liverpool man.
The management committee of the Catalan club is willing to let Coutinho leave because of his €12m per season salary that might hold the club back from signing a world-class player.
The report from Don Balon states that Chelsea has offered Barcelona €100 million for Philippe Coutinho and Marc Cucurella. However, Barca demand at least €160 million instead as the president believes that the Brazilian is worth €100 million alone.
