Chelsea in talks to sign Coutinho and Telles as key advantage in both deals confirmed

Chelsea are reportedly closing in on deals for Philippe Coutinho and Alex Telles this summer.  Both players have been linked with a move to the Blues as Frank Lampard wants to strengthen his squad.  Chelsea are in talks with both while they hold a key advantage over any transfer rivals due to their relationship with the players’ agents. Italian journalist Nicolo Schira claims Porto want €40million (£35m) for Telles, with this believed to be the Brazilian’s release clause. Schira points out that the Blues have good relationships with the agents of both players which could help them finalise any deal. Telles has recently changed agents, with the left-back now represented by Pini Zahavi, who has close links with Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich. Telles is out of contract in 2021.  Source: Express
