Chelsea identify Inter Milan player as top January transfer target

Chelsea boss Frank Lampard has made Inter Milan striker Gabriel Barbosa his top January transfer target, in order to reduce pressure on Tammy Abraham. Barbosa has just ended a loan spell at Brazilian side Flamengo and has been a prolific goalscorer in Brazil's Serie A, scoring 70 goals in 112 appearances for his side and former club Santos before that. Chelsea could seal the deal by waiving a fee on veteran Olivier Giroud, wanted by Inter boss Antonio Conte. Lampard has around £150m to spend this month after the club’s transfer ban was lifted by CAS. On the Blues target list there are also RB Leipzig's Timo Werner, Bournemouth's Nathan Ake amd Bayern Munich's David Alaba. Source- Daily and Sunday Express
