Chelsea 'eye transfer' for West Ham and England star

Chelsea are reportedly considering a summer swoop for West Ham and England star Declan Rice. The 21-year-old has started all 29 of West Ham's Premier League games. Manchester United have also been linked with the player but his consistent displays have caught the eye of Chelsea boss Frank Lampard. Rice was released by the Stamford Bridge club as a youth player. The player has four years left on his contract with the relegation-threatened Hammers, plus the option of a further year's extension. Transfermarkt estimating his value at around £50million.
