Chelsea defender Marcos Alonso has hinted he could leave the club this summer amid interest from Spain.
The left-back signed a new long-term deal in October.
Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid have been linked with a move for the 28-year-old and the Chelsea defender refused to rule out a summer exit.
“I am very happy here but we will see what happens this summer,” he told the London Evening Standard. “There is always talk. Is it a compliment? Yes. It means I’m doing well if other teams are trying to get in touch. But first of all I’m focussing on the final. I am very happy to have four more years here and hopefully, I will stay many more years here.”
Chelsea will not be able to sign players this summer if the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) do not temporarily lift their FIFA-imposed transfer ban.
Given the uncertainty of so many other Chelsea players, it’s unlikely Sarri’s side will even entertain his exit this summer unless a substantial bid is received.
