Celtic News: Tierney, Hayes, Brown, Bain, Lennon

Neil Lennon has railed against "a knee-jerk world of unrealistic expectations" among Celtic fans who do not want him to remain as manager.  Lennon replaced Brendan Rodgers until the end of the season in February and is one win away from a clean sweep of domestic trophies for the third successive season. (Scotsman) Celtic have four players - Kieran Tierney, James Forrest, Jonny Hayes and Odsonne Edouard - ruled out of Sunday's final Scottish Premiership match of the season against Hearts, who they meet again the following week in the Scottish Cup final, while Mikael Lustig is a doubt for Lennon's side. (Sun) Celtic captain Scott Brown has had a scan on a broken toe. Celtic’s medical team now face an anxious wait before discovering the full extent of the damage - with Brown desperate to lead his teammates out at Hampden to face the Jambos in the Scottish Cup Final next Saturday when he hopes to make another piece of history. (Daily Record) Celtic goalkeeper Scott Bain believes the SPFL could do more to help Scottish clubs in Europe as well as the national team. The Scottish champions play Hearts in the Scottish Cup final on 25 May, with international fixtures following in early June. Celtic are back for pre-season in the latter part that month before Champions League qualifiers on 8/9 July. (BBC)
