Saul Alvarez will reportedly fight against Billie Joe Saunders in June. WBA ‘regular’ super middleweight champion ‘Canelo’ was supposed to meet WBO champion Saunders on May 2 in Las Vegas, but the fight was cancelled due to the coronavirus outbreak.
Depending on how long the coronavirus will be a problem for mass gatherings, the fight could even take place later than June.
Under current circumstances, Alvarez, who has a mega-money contract with streaming service DAZN, will have his first fight in June and then face Gennady Golovkin in September. As reported by the Athletic, the trilogy is agreed for September 12 at AT&T Stadium.

After the controversial draw back in 2017, Alvarez has beaten Golovkin in 2018 via majority decision.
