Reportedly, Cristiano Ronaldo has inadvertently forced Real Madrid to block Manchester United’s attempts to sign Raphael Varane this summer. Cristiano Ronaldo left Real Madrid for Juventus back in the summer and now Varane is set to follow in his footsteps by joining Manchester United. Recent reports have suggested that Varane is keen to leave Real behind at the end of the season, having won every major honour available to him during his time at the Bernabeu. Real only allowed Ronaldo to go because of all he had given them during his stunning nine-year stint in Spain. However, according to OK Diario, Real primed to block United’s attempts to sign him and Zinedine Zidane has already insisted they should pay the player’s full buyout clause of £428million.
