Callum Hudson-Odoi set for crunch talks with Frank Lampard and could leave Chelsea on loan

Callum Hudson-Odoi is set to share a talk with Frank Lampard upon his future at the club and could leave the Premier League side with a loan deal, according to reports. The 19-year-old was close to making a move from Stamford Bridge a couple of years ago when Maurizio Sarri was in charge, however, he signed a new deal and was expected to play a key role in Frank Lampard's side. But recently the winger has found his playing time limited, following the transfers of Hakim Ziyech, Kai Havertz and Timo Werner. The English professional hasn't started in both Premier League games of the 2020/21 campaign, playing just 10 minutes off the bench against Brighton. And according to The Athletic, Hudson-Odoi is not pleased with his current situation, while his representatives are planning to speak to the club. The young winger wants to discuss his role at the team, while he could even be ready to make a loan move to another club in order to secure his place in the first team squad. It is also suggested that Chelsea are already working on a loan deal for Hudson-Odoi that ‘could be finalised by the weekend’.
