Callum Hudson-Odoi has spoken out on his form after England U21 win

Callum Hudson-Odoi said he felt like he was getting back to his best after England U21s' victory over Andorra. Chelsea youngster scored a penalty in their 3-1 win over Andorra U21s during the UEFA EURO U21 qualification round. During this season, the 20-year-old has only made 4 Premier League appearances in which he has scored 1 goal. Overall during this season, Hudson-Odoi has made 9 appearances for the Blues and scored 2 goals. "I feel like I’m still improving, I’m still trying to get more strength in the calf which I lost a lost of muscle from," the Chelsea youngster told BT Sport, when asked about his long journey back from his previous Achilles injury. "But I feel like I’m getting back to my best and hopefully sooner or later I’ll be back to normal as I was before. "I just want to keep improving, keep working hard daily and keep getting better day-by-day." "Of course you want to be in the senior team, you want to be competing up there every time," he added. "But, no matter what level I’m playing at, I want to try my best and work hard every day and hopefully get into the seniors. "If it’s going up and down, I want to make sure I stay up there so want to keep working hard, keep my mentality strong." source - Metro Join us on Telegram
