Bundesliga CEO REVEALS when the league will restart

Bundesliga Chief Executive Officer Christian Seifert has revealed the season will restart in May. 36 stadiums will host the remaining 9 match-days for the two top divisions of the country.  In an interview with the New York Times, Seifert has spoken about finishing the season. Matches will restart, which is good news for the fans. However, stadiums will remain empty, as it has been decided to play behind-closed-doors.  Several Bundesliga teams, including Bayern Munich, have already started training with small groups (4-5 people). Players are preparing themselves for the most important part of the domestic season.  At this point, Bayern are leading with 55 points and are 4 points clear of second placed Borussia Dortmund. RB Leipzig is another contender for the title, as Julian Nagelsmann’s side has 50 points.
