Lewis Dunk’s goal against Liverpool should have been disallowed, according to former referee Keith Hackett.

The Brighton captain scored in the 79th minute when Liverpool were already leading with a 2-0 score. The game eventually ended with a 2-1 score.

After the game, former referee Keith Hackett posted a tweet with a caption: “The Brighton goal should have been disallowed.

“The Liverpool wall was formed with 3 or more players. Brighton’s attackers were in the wall not one yard away”.

With the win, Liverpool are currently leading the Premier League table with 4 points.
