BILD: Liverpool to 'battle' Southampton for Werder Bremen forward
Liverpool have been linked with a move for Werder Bremen forward Milot Rashica. But according to Sport Bild, the Reds are set to battle with Southampton for the Kosovo international’s signature.
The report also states that Red Bull Leipzig are showing an interest in the 23-year-old, who is said to have a €38m (£33m) release clause. However, that clause is active until June 15, which would drop to just €18m (£16m) if Bremen are relegated from the Bundesliga.
Rashica has seven goals in 20 Bundesliga appearances this season.
Sporting director Frank Baumann, meanwhile, is relaxed about the situation around Rashica.
He said: "I don't think anything will happen at very short notice. We know that many clubs are interested, but there is no offer. We are still relaxed."
