Le10Sport: Manchester City set to launch £28m bid for Marseille star

Manchester City are hoping to solve their defensive problems this summer. Pep Guardiola's side set to launch a £28million bid for Marseille defender Boubacar Kamara. Since Vincent Kompany's departure at the end of the 2018-19 campaign, City have yet to find a long term replacement for the former club captain. This season so far, City conceded 31 goals.  According to Le 10 Sport, Guardiola has already identified Kamara to replace Kompany and will make a bid for the 20-year-old this summer. Kamara has been one of Marseille's stars under Andre Villas-Boas.  He has played 28 games across all competitions this season. Despite qualifying for the Champions League next term, Kamara may still have to be sold to balance the books according to the report. Source: Daily Mail
