Bergwijn, Bale, Lo Celso: Latest Tottenham injury news and return dates ahead of Manchester City clash

Tottenham are set to face Manchester City this weekend, following the international break. The Lilywhites are sitting in 2nd place of the Premier League table, while a successful game could see them going on top. Ahead of the clash, here are the latest injury news for the club trio Steven Bergwijn, Gareth Bale and Giovani Lo Celso. Bergwijn is still doubtful to feature as recently the winger was left out of the international duty for the Netherlands’ games against Spain, Bosnia and Poland, with the Dutch FA revealing he was "not fit enough". The statement reads: "Steven Bergwijn has left the training camp of the Dutch national team. "The Tottenham Hotspur attacker was examined by the medical staff of Oranje on Monday, upon arrival in Zeist. "It turned out that he is not fit enough and that the Oranje matches must pass by." Bale was substituted in the 78th minute against West Brom prior to the international break and was pictured sitting in the stands with an ice pack on his left ankle. The 31-year-old has missed Wales' friendly match with the USA last Thursday, but played full 90 minutes during the team's 1-0 win over the Republic of Ireland on Sunday. He is set to feature for Wednesday's match versus Finland in the Nationas League. Lo Celso will be hoping to be involved in Spurs' squad in the coming weeks, with the player having a difficult start of the season due to injuries. The 24-year-old was on international duty with Argentina over the past week, playing against Paraguay.
