Barcelona set to begin talks over Liverpool man, Xavi really 'appreciates' the midfielder

Thiago Alcantara has reportedly been linked with a return to former club Barcelona. According to Pedro Almeida, who is an insider specialized in transfers, the Catalan giants are considering re-signing the Liverpool midfielder after appointing Xavi as head-coach.

  It is claimed that the Barca manager has already started discussions with president Joan Laporta regarding the prospect of purchasing the Reds' midfielder, who still has 3 years remaining on his current deal. Xavi is believed to be a huge admirer of Thiago and he 'appreciates' him a lot.
