Barcelona ‘set Coutinho price tag’ – less than they paid Liverpool

Liverpool parted company with Philippe Coutinho in January 2018 after they received an initial £106million from the transfer with Barcelona agreeing to pay an additional £36million in bonuses. The 27-year-old has won two La Liga titles and the Copa del Rey with Barcelona but is struggling to produce the type of form he displayed at Anfield. So now he is linked with a move away from Nou Camp and according to reports in Spain, Barcelona have set a price tag on Coutinho so that the club can fund the return of Neymar. And despite the big money deal Barcelona spent to secure Coutinho's services from Liverpool, the Catalan club are ready to sell him for less. Coutinho's most likely destination is Paris Saint-Germain, perhaps in a player-plus-cash deal for Neymar who is desperate to return to the La Liga champions.
