Barcelona ready to pay more for Inter striker to ensure his transfer to Camp Nou

Barcelona are ready to pay more than Lautaro Martinez's release clause in the contract with Inter Milan to ensure the striker's transfer to Camp Nou, according to Italian news outlet CalcioMercato.com. Martinez joined Inter in the summer of 2018. He has sparkled with the Serie A side during this term, scoring 16 goals and providing 4 assists in 30 appearances across all competitions. Currently the Argentina international has been targeted by a number of top clubs, including the Catalan giants. And now Quique Setine's side are willing to pay more than €111 million to sign the 22-year-old. La Liga giants see Martinez as a replacement to their ageing striker Luis Suarez and are ready to offer more then any club to reach an agreement with Inter.
