Barcelona have reportedly reached an agreement with Inter Milan striker Lautaro Martinez over his contract and now are in talks with the Serie A side for the transfer fee.
The 22-year-old has been targeted by Catalan giants, being regarded as the replacement to Luis Suarez, who is nearing the end of his career.
And now Quique Setien’s side have reached an agreement for the Argentina international’s move, according to Tuttosport.
The report claims that the La Liga giants must now attempt to negotiate with Inter over the transfer fee, with other clubs like Real Madrid, Chelsea, Manchester United and Manchester City also in rush for the forward.
Martinez has shown an impressive game with Antonio Conte’s side, scoring 16 goals in 31 appearances in all competitions this term. His contract with Inter expires in the summer of 2023. It is thought to have a release clause at around of £94m, which Barcelona is likely to meet if they wish to materialise the deal.
