Aubameyang, Tierney, Lacazette: Latest Arsenal injury news ahead of Leeds United clash

Arsenal are set to face Leeds United in the EFL Cup Round of 16 on Tuesday evening. The Gunners will be hoping to have another successful game following their 3 - 1 win over Aston Villa in the Premier League last Friday. Mikel Arteta's side will be without Kieran Tierney. The latter missed last week's match due to a bruised left ankle and is still unavailable. “We don’t know how long he’s going to be out. He could not carry on the other day and he’s not available today," Arteta said about him. Granit Xhaka is out of action as well after picking up an injury in the North London derby victory over Tottenham. He is expected to return towards the new year (November/December). As for Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, the club duo are fit and available despite both being taken off in the second half against Villa. “He worked really hard, he has not played many minutes, he hasn't played international and he is lacking that to finish the games, but it doesn't matter, he was terrific when he was on the pitch," the Gunners manager said about Lacazette. The Spanish boss also confirmed that Aubameyang doesn't have a serious injury, saying: “No, no, he was cramping."
