Atletico Madrid eyeing Chelsea left-back with Lucas Hernandez and Felipe Luis set to leave

Atletico Madrid are eyeing Chelsea left-back Marcos Alonso, according to AS. Diego Simeone is certain to lose Lucas Hernandez while Filipe Luis is also expected to leave at the end of the season. The 23-year-old Hernandez will join Bayern Munich for a club-record £68million. The 33-year-old Luis, meanwhile, is out of contract and is not likely to be handed an extension. AS believe Chelsea's Alonso is top of his wishlist. Alonso started his career at Atletico's city rivals Real Madrid, coming through the academy with fellow defenders Nacho and Dani Carvajal. Chelsea may be reluctant to let the deal go through. Selling Alonso would leave Emerson as the only experienced first-team left-back at the club.
