Aston Villa told the player they 'need' after Wolves defeat

Leon Bailey has been out of action since a 3-0 win over Everton back in September. Bailey picked up a quad injury back in September, in a game where he scored his first Villa goal after coming on as a second-half substitute. The new summer signing's return from injury could be ‘key’ for Aston Villa for the rest of this season, according to former striker Frank McAvennie.
"They need him,” he told Football Insider.   "We know how good he is. He looks like that Grealish replacement.   “This guy has had an instant impact, he’s come in and hit the ground running.   "You can’t really say that about the other summer signings but I’m not having a go at them.   “The crowd look like they respond to Bailey and having a player like that is so important. They struggle without him."
