'I was like ‘WHAT?’' - Aston Villa man shocked by what he saw on his phone after the Tottenham clash

Matt Targett has revealed he saw something surprising on his phone after 2-1 Tottenham Hotspur defeat. Speaking to Sky Sports ahead of Aston Villa’s game against Wolves on Saturday, the left back told that he was confused to see ‘Targett OG’ on his phone after full-time. The 26-year-old scored an own goal in the Spurs clash, although he was shocked to see Lucas Moura hadn’t scored it.

“I looked at my phone after the game and it said Targett OG. I was like ‘what?’'   "At first I genuinely didn’t think I touched it, so I thought it was a bit harsh," Targett said.

In fact, everyone was surprised to see him and not Lucas, credited with the winning goal in north London before the international break.
