Arsenal left-back Nuno Tavares has claimed that Mohamed Salah 'won't know who he is' ahead of their meeting with Liverpool on Saturday.
The 21-year-old joined Arsenal from Benfica in the summer and has made seven league appearances so far this season.
And Tavares insists he 'doesn't have a problem facing anyone', as he prepares to potentially be tasked with keeping one of the best players on the planet quiet.
“Salah, if I play, will play against me. I don’t have a problem with anyone. I play for Arsenal," he told TalkSport.
"We have a good team and Liverpool have a good team as well to fight on the pitch."
Asked if the Egyptian will have a problem with him, he replied:
“I don’t think so. Salah won’t know who I am.”
On whether Salah will know who he is after the match on Saturday, Tavares added:
"Maybe. I don’t know, I am young.”
