Arsenal eased to a 5-1 victory as Mesut Ozil and Henrikh Mkhitaryan shone to keep Emery’s men in the top four.
The pair scored to put Arsenal on course for the win before Lys Mousset pulled one back - only for Laurent Koscielny, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette to strike after the interval.
However, Arsenal key defender Laurent Koscielny finished the game struggling to walk having been hurt in a challenge with Joshua King.
After the match, Emery said: "I hope it is just one kick. He has three days between Saturday and I hope he will be OK."
Koscielny put in an impressive display at the Emirates as the Gunners thumped Eddie Howe's men 5-1.
The French international now has just three days to recover before the North London derby against Tottenham on Saturday.
