How Arsenal could lineup with Denis Suarez after the January transfer window

Arsenal are very close to signing  Barcelona midfielder Denis Suarez. The 25-year-old has an experience to work alongside Unai Emery during his time on loan at Sevilla. But how could Arsenal set-up? The wide option Unai Emery said after the win at Blackpool that he views Suarez as a wide player. When asked by football.london what he thought the 25-year-old’s best position was, Emery said: “He was playing in his career, and also with me also, as a right or left winger.” Should Suarez come in, he could slot in on the right side of the attacking three instead of sidelined Henrikh Mkhitaryan in Emery’s preferred 4-2-3-1 formation. The No.10 When using the 4-2-3-1 option, Emery often went with Mesut Ozil as his No.10 - although at times he did also use Aaron Ramsey there. But both players won’t feature as No. 10. Emery is unhappy with Mesut Ozil’s displays , while Aaron Ramsey’s is set to depart from the club. So Suarez, who loves to get on the ball and run at players, could be the player to slot in behind. Aubameyang or any other central striker. The box to box midfielder Suarez wears the No.6 shirt at Barcelona and he has the ability to play as an out and out central midfielder. In the past few months, Emery has moved to play with a three centre-backs, using wing-backs to provide the width. Although he is right footed, Suarez does like to drift over to the left at times and then cut inside on his favoured foot, so he would be very comfortable as part of that diamond formation.
