Arsenal to get big defensive injury boost this month
Arsenal are set to be handed two much needed defensive boosts with both Laurent Koscielny and Konstantinos Mavropanos returning from injury this month, writes TheSun.
Koscielny ruptured his Achilles tendon and has been out since last season's Europa League semi-final, while Mavropanos is recovering from a groin injury.
Both players are now expected to return to first-team action at the end of the month.
While the defender duo will be back, Emery has been handed an injury blow as Danny Welbeck broke his ankle during the 0-0 draw with Sporting CP.
The forward is set to undergo surgery this weekend. But it has been reported that Welbeck's injury rules him out for the rest of the season.
