Arsenal could reportedly sign £588m Real Madrid star for just £42m

Arsenal are reportedly willing to sign Marco Asensio in summer transfer window. According to Sport, Edu could bring the Real Madrid star to Emirates for just £42million. Earlier this week, journalist Eduardo Inda claimed that the Gunners have already approached Asensio.

“Asensio has two offers from the UK, and his contract expires in 2023,” says Inda.   “If Real Madrid don’t renew him, he will leave for free in 2023. He has an offer from Arsenal and Liverpool.”  

Sport also claim that the winger has a €700m clause, which works out at around £588m.
