How Arsenal can line-up in the Premier League opener game against Newcastle

Arsenal kicked-off their pre-season with a friendly game against Boreham Wood which ended with a 3-3 draw. Then Unai Emery’s side traveled to USA where they played against Colorado Rapids and won 3-0.

Later started the International Champions Cup during which Arsenal played against Bayern Munich (2-1), Fiorentina (3-0) and Real Madrid (2-2, 3-2 Real won on penalties).

Pre-season continued with games against Lyon (Emirates Cup) which ended with Arsenal’s 2-1 defeat then a 1-1 draw with Angers (4-3, Arsenal won on penalties).

Arsenal also played against Barcelona in the Joan Gamper Trophy, however they lost the game 2-1.

Pre-season aside, Arsenal were also busy with the summer transfer window as Unai Emery’s side signed few players including William Saliba, whom, however they loaned back to AS Saint-Étienne as well as Nicolas Pepe, Gabriel Martinelli and Dani Ceballos, who joined Gunners on a season-long loan.

The Gunners will kick-off the Premier League with a game against Newcastle on August 11.
