Andy Robertson to fly to Kazakhstan separately to join Scotland team despite emergency surgery
Liverpool star Andy Robertson wants to play in his national team’s Euro-2020 qualifiers first match in Kazakhstan.
Merseyside club left back will be offered a solo flight to join his teammates despite the emergency surgery on a painful dental abscess, Daily Mail reports.
Robertson, who took part in Liverpool’s latest away match against Fulham in London, didn’t manage to undergo surgery, as they failed to find a doctor in capital city.
Despite the fact, that Liverpool doctors and coaches would like to see Robertson resting, 25-year-old left back has told his friends he wants to captain his national team and he will be offered a commercial flight.
Besided Kazakhstan, Scotland will also play against San-Marino during the international break.
