Alan Smith believes that Arsenal's Bukayo Saka is a better option for Gareth Southgate ahead of Euro 2021 than Chelsea’s Callum Hudson-Odoi.
Saka has established himself as one of the key players at the Emirates Stadium, while Hudson-Odoi has returned to an impressive form under Thomas Tuchel, following the struggles in charge of Frank Lampard.
Discussing whether England national team boss will allow some of his younger players to represent the England Under-21 side in March, former Gunners man picked Saka over the likes of Hudson-Odoi.
“Hudson-Odoi would go with the U21 side, whereas Saka would be with the senior side because he is such a talent – a natural one that can make his mark internationally. Something for Southgate to balance, it is a nice problem to have,” he told
