Alan Shearer in agreement with Rio Ferdinand about Arsenal star Bukayo Saka after England win over Germany

England picked up a crucial 2-0 win over Germany in the round of 16 of the Euros on Tuesday evening. Raheem Sterling and Harry Kane's goals secured the win for the Three Lions and a progress into the quarter-finals, where they will face Ukraine. Arsenal starlet Bukayo Saka was once again included in Gareth Southgate's starting lineup, as the youngster impressed in last Tuesday's Group D win over the Czech Republic. Saka started on the right of the front three, joining goal-getters Kane and Sterling. And former England striker Alan Shearer, singled the Arsenal ace out for praise at half time. "England need more players like that. He’s been so brave, when someone’s marking him tightly he still wants the ball," he told BBC Sport. "I think he’s been our best player." Alongside Shearer in the BBC studio was fellow former England international Rio Ferdinand. Like Shearer, the former Manchester United centre-back was also full of praise for Saka, hinting at his bravery and praising his sheer levels of confidence when he has the ball at his feet. "He’s got no qualms about roaming about, what is great about him he has confidence to drive forward and draw fouls," Ferdinand admitted. "He’s got that unpredictability, one thing you do know he is willing to turn defence into attack." Source - football.london Join us on Telegram!/ Follow us on Twitter!
