Granit Xhaka drops another Arsenal exit hint after Switzerland beat France at Euro 2020

Granit Xhaka has given another indication that he is aiming to leave Arsenal this summer following Switzerland’s victory over France at Euro 2020. Xhaka helped his side to reach the quarterfinals of the tournament. Switzerland will now play Spain on Friday. It’s understood that the midfielder has already agreed personal terms with the Serie A club, but Arsenal are holding out for a transfer fee in the region of €20 million (£17.2m). When asked by Sky Sport Italia if he would conduct his post-match interview in Italian after Switzerland’s shootout win over France, Xhaka replied: "Not yet." When it was suggested to him that there are language schools in Rome he could attend, Xhaka replied: "It’s always interesting to learn a new language. I’ve learnt English, why not learn Italian? "Let’s see what happens, everyone knows what Roma represents. Today I am an Arsenal player, then I’ll decide my future after the Euros."
