AC Milan enter the race for Liverpool long-time target

Liverpool could face competition from AC Milan to sign skipper Nabil Fekir in a deal reportedly worth £26.7m this summer. The Lyon attacker was on the verge of moving to the Reds last summer, but the deal was collapsed in the final stage due to medical issues. The 25-year-old has had a mixed season for the Ligue 1 giants as they finished third, some 19 point adrift of champions Paris Saint-Germain.However, Liverpool still consider him as a possible signing. According to CalcioMercato.com, AC Milan have also entered the race for the 25-year-old and eager to complete  a deal said to be worth £26.7m. After netting just 55 times in 38 league games last term, the Rossoneri want to bolster their attack and see Fekir as the ideal player to do that. Fekir is set to depart Lyon in the current transfer window after eight years with the club. Club president Jean-Michael Aulas said earlier this month: "Nabil's preference is towards a departure. We are open to discussions. "We have no news. We are waiting for proposals in the coming days but for the moment we do not have any."
