Aaron Wan-Bissaka reacts after scoring his first goal for Manchester United

Manchester United defender Aaron Wan-Bissaka has labelled the feeling of scoring his first goal in professional football as 'inspiring.' United beat Newcastle 4-1 on Saturday night. His goal was a great way to mark his 50th appearance for the club. “It's a good feeling, quite an inspiring one. It was a good team performance as well,” Wan-Bissaka told MUTV. “I just wanted to smash it. The keeper had been saving a few shots during the game so I thought 'this time, let me just roof it.' After that went in, the confidence is there to push on more.” Wan-Bissaka actually started his career as a forward in Crystal Palace's youth ranks. “I do, you know,” he added when asked if he remembered his last goal at youth level. “It was for Palace, from a corner. It was crossed in and I volleyed it in but that was a long time ago.”
