Manchester City are in rush for Celtic centre-back Kristoffer Ajer, according to a report from
90min.
Ajer has become a key player for the Hoops this season, having made 28 appearances. He led the team to the title win in charge of the club manager Neil Lennon.
Now the defender has been linked with a number of Premier League sides, including Wolves, Everton and Leicester, as well as Paris-Saint Germain, Borussia Dortmund and AC Milan.
A past report from
Calciomercato claims that Celtic value the player at around €40 million (£35.9 million).
However,
90min also claims that The Foxes may be in a more advantaged position in their attempts to sign Ajer, with the club boss Brendan Rodgers already being connected to the Norwegian through his time with Hoops.
