£70m Manchester City star turns down the chance to join Arsenal

Manchester City midfielder Bernardo Silva has reportedly rejected the opportunity to join Arsenal this summer. Gunners apparently were keen to sign the £70 million midfielder (The 42), as they continue to assess their playmaking options. However, Portuguese journalist Felipe Dias has told Sky Sports, that Silva has rejected the offer.

“The latest we’ve heard is that Bernardo has rejected a move to Arsenal,” he said.   “If that is the case I think rightly so, because I don’t think that would be a step forward in his career.   “Bernardo does want to leave, as it stands, but there’s a big question marks as to where he will go.   “It’s big news in Portugal this morning.”
