Zenit midfielder agrees Chelsea contract terms

Zenit St Petersburg midfielder Leandro Paredes has agreed on terms with Chelsea, according to Gazzetta dello Sport. Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri, after victory over Newcastle United on Saturday, declared he wanted to see a replacement for Cesc Fabregas after his departure for AS Monaco. Now Chelsea must reach an agreement with Zenit over a fee for the Argentine and an opening offer of £27m has already been lodged.
